YPGTTO: The Harp District Texture & Compositing Test

 The Harp District Shot 1: Basic Composite

A start to texturing the Harp District. A few tweaks may be needed, the sky and 'hero' harp in the foreground may need more detail. The hero harp railings could possibly be adjusted to help distinguish them from the background objects too.


  1. This is almost like-for-like Alan - amazing job! I think we could put some surface pattern onto the floor of the terrace and maybe we make the railings into one of the darker peachy tones - or maybe that dusky purple? In terms of the surface pattern it could maybe just be some concentric circles radiating out from the tube holes - just something to stage those tube hole exits more decoratively? Maybe the how Harp terrace needs to be the dusk purple with the orange-peach colours for the patterning? A few ideas anyway - I guess we'll know it when we see it - but it really looks rather lovely out there, doesn't it? :)
